Pastoral Transition

Committee members are Chris Hein, Mike Johnson, Troy Cardinal, Tom Mayfield, Scott Tiesma, Mandy Anderson, Anne Strootman, and Pastor Elizabeth Felt. The Call Committee met on Monday, June 1 and is moving forward with an active and hopeful approach to the pastoral call process.
We are hoping to begin interviewing candidates soon. We are working closely with the Synod throughout each step. To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the process, we are unable to share specific details about candidates. We are happy to answer questions about the process and would welcome a chance to talk with you if you would like to learn more. We ask for your continued prayers for the committee, the candidates, and for God's guidance as we discern the right pastoral leader for our congregation.

Update June 12: The Call Committee continues to meet regularly as we look for candidates who will be a strong partner for Pastor Elizabeth. We are searching for a full-time pastor with broad pastoral experience. This week we began interviewing candidates who might be the right match for Advent. We have been communicating with the Minneapolis Area Synod regularly and keeping them updated as we move through the process. Please continue to pray for the Call Committee, as we discern who God is preparing to serve Advent.

Last week we began interviewing candidates who might be the right match for Advent. Interviews are going well. We may have exciting news to share soon.
